Diamond Certification
How we source, grade, and certify every natural diamond — so you know exactly what you are wearing.
The 4Cs of diamond quality
Every diamond is graded on four internationally accepted parameters: Cut (shape and facet precision, which governs brilliance), Colour (how close the diamond is to colourless — graded D to Z for white diamonds), Clarity (number and nature of internal inclusions), and Carat (weight, 1 carat = 0.2 grams).
Zyvora sources natural diamonds graded by GIA (Gemological Institute of America), IGI (International Gemological Institute), or SGL (Solitaire Gemmological Laboratories) — India's leading accredited labs. The grading report accompanies every solitaire purchase.
Natural vs laboratory-grown
All diamonds sold on Zyvora are natural (mined) unless explicitly stated as laboratory-grown in the product title and description. Laboratory-grown diamonds have the same physical and chemical properties as mined diamonds but are produced in controlled conditions.
Product pages clearly disclose whether the stone is natural or lab-grown. Certification reports are included with every solitaire and large diamond piece for independent verification.
Ethical sourcing
We source diamonds through supply chains compliant with the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS), which prohibits the trade of conflict diamonds. Our manufacturer partners provide warranty documentation and country-of-origin declarations on request.
We are committed to expanding our responsible sourcing disclosures and will publish supply-chain details as standards in India evolve.
Reading your certificate
Your diamond grading report (physical or digital) contains the shape, carat weight, colour grade, clarity grade, cut grade (for round brilliants), fluorescence, dimensions, and a unique inscription that can be verified on the lab's website.
For diamonds above 0.30 ct, we include the certificate in your delivery package. For smaller accent diamonds, aggregate quality parameters are disclosed on the product page.
